The Sterling Bank staff Cooperative Society was borne out of the desire of the generality of employees of Sterling Bank Plc to organise themselves into "society" to pool resources together for the benefit of one another. The advantages cannot be overemphasised. The establishment was pursued on the platform of employment in Sterling for easy administration and control. It is purely an employee initiative and purely employee managed.
We provide customised financial services including loans and other solutions to meet our members' needs at any point in time. Loans offered to members to support expansion of micro and small business and other pressing needs. The society also enlighten and give basic guidance needed to understand financial services that are available to them.
It is a well known fact that the process of acquiring a property can be costly and time consuming. Our vision is piloting a new model of co-operative real estate, where are members can look at a property and say ''we should own this''. Sterling bank staff cooperative is ready to make acquiring a property more convenient from home buying, resident control, price stability title and long term protection to all members of the cooperative at the cooperative estate that is under construction.
